Rhythm, Light Design in collaboration with Venini, Murano, Italy

Rhythm is not just a single light but a system of light. The idea originated from a desire to create a modular light object that can be added on to in different ways to create unique installations that are site and function specific. This was combined with the traditional Murano technique of blowing glass into a metal cage for making lanterns.  Playing with the technique we have developed a form that can be replicated and combined in such a way as to create unique configurations. Rather than being a complete module it is half a module increasing the flexibility. Rhythm, whether as a single or as multiple elements creates a harmonious flow of light through the space.
